Ben Stiller to star in 'RentaGhost'

StillerBen Stiller takes charge in "RentaGhost" for Fox, that has acquired the comedy from Warner Bros., where Russell Brand have been set to star. "Evening in the Museum" authors Thomas Lennon and Robert Ben Garant will pen the script in line with the BBC skein that went for 58 episodes between 1976 and 1984. It focuses on a lately deceased 27-year-old guy who, going to become more productive within the afterlife, produces RentaGhost, leasing wizards, ghosts along with other specters towards the living. Kevin McCormick is creating through his Langley Park shingle with BermanBraun's Gail Berman, Lloyd Braun and Patrick Pidgeon Andew Mittman is co-creating. Michael Staniforth, Edward Brayshaw, Michael Darbyshire and Anthony Jackson starred within the TV series. McCormick is really a producer on Warner's period police drama "Gangster Squad," presently shooting in La. Stiller is going to be seen next in U's "Tower Heist." He's repped by WME.
